About IMFTO
Mission
It’s My Future Toronto [IMFTO] is a special program bringing together education, industry, and government to provide the opportunity for 8-12 years old BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) youth to design Toronto’s recovery from COVID-19 and systemic racism for the next 3-5 years.
The program works with community organizations to recruit up to 100 youth. Youth participants are guided through the process via “how to” videos on the website www.itsmyfutureto.ca and online workshops by professional journalists, designers, advertisers, community activists, movie directors, and policy experts.
